Oak & Antler was founded by Scotty and Jackie Blevins, lifelong Meade County locals with a love for our family & friends. Our journey began long before Oak & Antler was established. It truly started in 2023, when we ourselves got married.

When planning our own wedding, we searched for a natural venue in Meade County that matched the warm, inviting setting we’d always envisioned. When we couldn’t find one, we made our own—holding our ceremony on family land and our reception at our home. It was a beautiful day, surrounded by our two children, Hailey and Landon, our fiery grandson, Presley, and lots of family and friends. But it also revealed something important: Meade County had wonderful venues, but it didn’t have anything quite like what we wished for—a place deeply connected to the outdoors, full of character, peace, and the kind of rustic charm that feels timeless.

So when the land that would become Oak & Antler became available, we knew exactly what it could be. Not just another venue—but something different. A destination. A place where couples could celebrate surrounded by nature. A place where families could stay in cabins tucked into the landscape. A place crafted with intention, heart, and the kind of natural beauty we wanted for our own wedding day and family events.

And the name? That story grew right alongside the land.
Each evening, as we drove through the property, we were greeted by wildlife—turkey, deer, squirrels, and the quiet magic of untouched Kentucky woods. We tossed around name ideas inspired by the animals and the land itself. Then we noticed it: the towering oak tree at the Lodge site and another welcoming us at the driveway. Oak & Antler just slipped out—and we both knew instantly, that was it.

Today, Oak & Antler stands as a place built from our roots, our story, and our love for family & friends. Every detail—from the scenery to the structures—is crafted to bring people together and create moments that last a lifetime. We wanted to be rooted in nature but made for memories.

We’re grateful to share this piece of our heart, our home, and our family with you—and we can’t wait to help you create memories of your own.
